Day one: arrive and get your bearings

Use the afternoon to check the following day's pickup and meeting point. A message containing your accommodation name, party size and contact number is more useful than simply saying you are staying in Savusavu.
Day two: choose one locally arranged experience
Look for a guided outing that fits what you actually enjoy, whether that is nature, local food or learning about the area. Ask the provider to explain the stops and how much time is spent travelling between them.
If a pearl-farm or hot-springs visit appears in an itinerary, confirm access and what the visit involves. Do not assume a name on a map means there is public entry, a scheduled demonstration or a place to bathe.
Day three: water time, with an alternative ready
Tourism Fiji identifies snorkelling and diving among the area's attractions. Discuss experience level, equipment and the day's conditions with the operator before choosing an outing. For any dive and flight combination, get the operator's guidance on required timing before you lock in your schedule.
If a water activity cannot run, use your spare time for an unhurried meal or another host-recommended outing rather than forcing a replacement.
