Fiji Helicopter Scenic Flight over Cloudbreak & Monuriki

Twenty minutes in a helicopter with bubble windows will tell you more about Fiji than a week of looking at it from the beach. You lift off from Nadi, cross the lagoon, and the whole Mamanuca chain unrolls beneath you — Cloudbreak, the reef pass that surfers fly across the world for, breaking white on blue, and Monuriki, the uninhabited island where Cast Away was filmed, sitting on its own in the middle of nowhere. Go for the thirty-minute version and you get further out over the resorts and reefs and back in past the mainland peaks. The pilots talk you through what you're seeing. Transfers from the airport or your Nadi hotel to the Island Hoppers lounge are included, and check-in is thirty minutes before you fly. Bring a camera and sit by the window, which is most of them.
