Fiji is one of the easiest places in the Pacific to travel with children — Fijian hospitality is genuinely warm towards families.

Choosing experiences

Check the group size and duration on each listing. A nine-hour island cruise is a long day for small children; a shorter reef trip or a resort-based snorkel is usually a better first outing. Listings show duration and capacity in the highlights near the top.

Kids' pricing

Many experiences have a separate child rate, which appears in the booking panel once you add children. Infants are often free — the listing will say.

In the water

Lagoons inside the reef are typically calm and shallow. Ask the operator about life jackets for children; reputable boats carry child sizes, and it is a fair question to ask when booking.

Tell Ask FijiDude the ages of your children and it will suggest experiences that genuinely suit them.
